Is highlighted hair fashionable for men this year.?

My wife has suggested that I have my hair highlighted I am 38 years old with a short 1.5" long spikey messed up style. I have never coloured my hair before so I am a bit nervous about having it done, I am especially nervous at the prospect of sitting in the salon chair wearing one of those rubber highlighting caps on my head

it is fashionsalbe and get it done professioanly! otheriwse it wont look good! men need it done by pros trust me and the ywill no hwo to work ti with ur hair! it does look good trust me but make sure u get hair cut if it does start to look wrong atleast ur hair is short with women we have to wait years to grow the high lights out
