What is the at home solution for adding red highlights to dark brown hair?

i just did this last week.

u have to bleach it 1st.

use wella bleach from sally beauty supply.

leave it on for 45 min to an hour and 15 min.

until it becomes a honey blonde color.

then wash out the bleach and dry ur hair.

then find a pretty red hair color that u like and put it

over the blonde pieces. leave the red hair color on for about 45 min to an hour. hope i helped. good luck!!!!! :D :D

if you put lemon juice in your hair.and streak it through...leave it in for a while then wash it out...it will make the parts where the lemon juice was lighter.
